摘要:A new borate CaB2O4·0.5H2O:Eu3+ microstructure phosphor has been synthesized via hydrothermal method and its luminescent properties have been studied. The effects of surfactants and Eu3+ doping amount on the luminescent properties of the samples are studied. The results showed that the introduction of surfactants do not affect the crystal structure of CaB2O4·0.5H2O: Eu3+ but change its emission intensity and R/O(I616/I 592) value. The quenching concentration of sample is 5% Eu3+ doping. By comparing CaB2O4·0.5H2O:Eu3+with the reported CaB2O4:Eu3+, CaB2O4·0.5H2O:Eu3+ exhibit better red color purity than CaB2O4:Eu3+indicating that this hydrated borate host phosphor could serve as a new potential red phosphor. ? 2015 Elsevier GmbH.
