摘要:With the continuous efforts of researchers, significant progress has been made in realizing the high value-added utilization of lignin and using lignin to develop high-performance sustainable elastomeric materials. Among them, the application of lignin in elastomers is mainly divided into three aspects: (i) rubber/lignin composites based on lignin's roles as a filler, (ii) lignin-based elastomers based on lignin's roles as hard blocks, and (iii) elastomers based on lignin-derived small molecules as monomers. However, lignin suffers from difficulties in dissolution, easy agglomeration, and poor compatibility with polymer materials in practical applications, which limits its wide application in elastomers. This paper mainly introduces the latest progress of lignin applications in elastomeric materials from the above three aspects.
