摘要：Stylistics studies the style of a text and the particular effect generated by the particular language choice. As a recreation of the original text, translation should not only presents the original literal meanings, but also conveys the original style and language effects. Therefore, through the stylistic analysis of two Chinese versions of Lolita, this paper focuses on the necessity and significance of taking style into consideration in translation.
