摘要:Urban wetlands play a crucial role in improving urban environments and enhancing residents' quality of life. Although current research extensively focuses on evaluating urban wetland ecosystem services and their changing characteristics, there are no studies on public perception and conservation behaviors across different family life cycle stages. Therefore, this study uses Huaxi Wetland Park in Guiyang, China, as a case study and employs field survey questionnaires to analyze public awareness and conservation behaviors of wetland ecosystem services from a family life cycle perspective. The results show that the public in the early and stable stages of the family life cycle have higher awareness of wetland ecosystem services, while those in the caregiving and empty nest stages have lower awareness. The public has low awareness of spending time and money on protecting wetland ecosystem services, especially in the caregiving and empty nest stages. While most of the public across different family life cycle stages consciously participates in wetland environmental protection, participation in actively discouraging others from damaging wetlands is low. Gender, income, education level, and occupation significantly influence public awareness and conservation behaviors in different family life cycle stages. The results of this study have guiding value for urban wetland ecological environment protection planning and for formulating policies to enhance public awareness and participation in wetland ecological protection.
