摘要:词汇是英语学习的基石,词汇教学在高校英语教学中占据着举足轻重的地位。数字技术的发展为英语词汇教学转型提供了重要的工具和载体。教师能充分利用数字化平台对英语词汇进行客观分析和合理分类,同时,运用多模态教学法调动学生的各种感官潜能,使其充分了解词汇的文化背景、表征、衍生过程、特征与内涵,构建对词汇的多重认知,拓宽词汇学习的广度和深度。多模态教学的交互模式与多模态的评价方式让学生能够以更加多样化和个性化的方式参与词汇学习,实现从被动到主动的转变,提高学生学习热情、兴趣和学习效果。
Vocabulary serves as the foundation of English acquisition,and its instruction plays a pivotal role in college English education.The advent of digital technology has provided an invaluable tool and medium for the transformation of vocabulary pedagogy.Educators can fully leverage digital platforms to objectively analyze and systematically categorize English vocabulary.Simultaneously,by employing a multi-modal,teachers can stimulate students'diverse sensory potentials,enable them to comprehensively grasp the cultural context,representation,derivation process,characteristics and connotations associated with vocabulary.This fosters multiple cognitive perspectives on vocabulary while expanding both the breadth and depth of integrated learning experiences.Through interactive modes and multi-modal assessment methods inherent in this instructional approach,students engage in diversified and personalized ways of acquiring new words,effectively transitioning from passive recipients to active participants,and consequently enhancing their enthusiasm for learning as well as overall learning outcomes.
