摘要:In this research, we synthesized Sm3+-activated molybdate K5La(MoO4)(4) (KLM) red phosphors through a solid-phase reaction method. The samples were systematically characterized in terms of crystal structure, phase composition, morphology, optical properties, and various applications. Upon 403 nm excitation, the photoluminescence spectrum of the phosphor exhibited four prominent emission peaks due to the 4f-4f transitions of Sm3+ ions. Notably, at 423 K, the emission intensity of the KLM:0.04Sm(3+) phosphor was 82.6 % of that at 298 K. LED devices fabricated with a commercial 395 nm LED chip and KLM:0.04Sm(3+) phosphor showed significant spectral overlap with the absorption spectra of chlorophyll a and the photosensitive pigment P-R, meeting the photonic requirements for plant growth and development. The white light-emitting diodes (w-LEDs) demonstrated a high color rendering index (Ra) of 95.14 and a suitable correlated color temperature (CCT) of 5245 K. The optical temperature dependence of the KLM:4%Sm3+ phosphor was analyzed using the luminescence intensity ratio technique, showing excellent relative sensitivity for temperature measurement (S-R = 0.258 % K-1). These results indicate the potential applications of the synthesized phosphors in w-LEDs, plant growth lighting, and optical temperature sensors, all of which have significant practical value.
