摘要:Based on previous work, investigation of hand samples, XRD and SEM analysis, the mineral morphology and genesis of bauxite deposits in WZD area have been discussed here, and the result shows that: there are two basic forms of the main minerals, including clastic particles and matrix, and bauxite deposit as matrix usually has higher ore grade; most of the titanium minerals in bauxite deposit from WZD area are ilmenites, rather than previously proposed anatase and rutile; the main minerals in bauxite deposits were formed in different stages, e.g. Kaolinite, diaspore and chlorite mainly formed respectively in the weathering, pene-contemporaneous, and both syndiagenetic and pene-contemporaneous stages. ? 2015 ejge.
