摘要:Solar radiation shielding properties of transparent LaB6 filters were investigated experimentally and by a first-principles method. It was found that the calculated solar radiation shielding performances for transparent LaB6 filters are in excellent agreement with experimental findings. The results indicate that LaB6 is a promising near infrared (NIR) shielding material for solar radiative filters with high visible light transmittance and perfect optical performance that can be applied not only to compacted filters but also in the nanoparticle dispersed coatings.
