摘要:酚醛树脂作为重要的摩擦材料胶粘剂,其热稳定性对摩擦制动材料的性能有至关重要的影响。为改善传统酚醛树脂耐热性不足的缺点,以腰果壳酚、苯酚、甲醛为原料制备了改性酚醛预聚体,并利用DSC和TG等分析手段,对改性后的酚醛树脂进行了表征,结果表明:腰果壳酚改性酚醛树脂的热失重过程主要发生在400℃以上,其耐热性相比普通酚醛树脂有较大提高,适合用作高温摩擦制动材料的胶粘剂。
As one of such critical adhesives, phenolic resin was widely used in friction braking areas. Naturally, its thermal stability affected the final products dramatically. To improve its thermal stability and tenacity, cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) , phenol, and formaldehyde were used to synthesize a modified phenolic resin. Furthermore, the obtained phenolic resin was characterized by means of FTIR, DSC, and TG. It was discovered from the tests that the mass loss process of modified phenolic resins mainly occurred above 400 ℃ , and their thermal stabilities dramatically improved compared with ordinary phenolic resin. The CNSL modified phenolic resins were ideal adhesives for high-temperature friction brake materials.
