摘要：通过对数字地球信息技术和相关软件的分析,论述了数字地球三维影像地形用于工程规划设计前期的可行性和与传统方法比较具有的优势,并且结合实例说明了数字地球三维影像地形在水利和公路工程中的应用技术。
Through analysis of digital earth information technology and related softwares, the feasibility to apply 3-dimensional topographical ima-ges to engineering planning and design in early stage was discussed. And the advantages compared with the traditional method have been discussed too. This paper illustrated the application of 3-dimensional topographic images in the hydraulic engineering and highway engineering by ex-amples.
