摘要:After years of research and investigation, we discovered a large independent scandium (Sc) deposit at Shazi region, Qinglong County, Guizhou, SW China. Preliminary studies found that this Sc ore deposit is laterite type Sc ore deposit formed in weathering crust by long-term weathering of Sc-rich Emeishan basalt. This is the first example of Sc deposit of this genesis type to be reported in Ch ina. This discovery has significant theoretical and mineral prospecting value.
