摘要:Supercooled water droplets in the air may hit electricity transmission lines and freeze, leading to the fracture of transmission lines and performance degradation of insulation components. The work proposed a method for transmission line icing detection. The method obtained icing thickness based on the fiber optic sensor, and further established the mapping relationship of icing thickness from the sensor to transmission lines. The mapping error was analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that the fiber optic sensor has high sensitivity and reliability. When it is applied to transmission lines, good accuracy can be obtained under normal meteorological conditions even if the mapping relationship does not consider the influence of wind speed and mean volume diameter. For transmission lines with different diameters, the mapping relationship can still keep its error at a low level after proper adjustment.
