摘要:The modern manufacturing industry is inextricably linked to the development of advanced manufacturing technology. Especially in the energy chemical industry, aerospace, and other important fields, cutting processing is the production of a variety of equipment key components of the processing mode, and the tools as an important part of cutting processing; cutting tool performance put forward higher requirements. In order to improve the cutting performance of tools, the combination of surface microstructure technology and surface coating technology to modify the surface of the tool has great prospects for development. It has been shown that the embedding of both microstructures and coatings on the tool surface has better cutting performance, to better show the current research status of micro-structured composite-coated tools. Firstly, the fabrication method of micro-structured composite-coated tools is introduced. Secondly, it summarizes the cutting performance of micro-structured composite-coated tool from six aspects: wear resistance, cutting force, friction coefficient of tool-chip contact interface, cutting temperature, tool life, and chip formation. Then, the effect of micro-structured composite-coated tool on surface quality was analyzed and summarized. Finally, the current research status of micro-structured composite-coated tool is summarized, proposed the current problems, and possible future research directions.
