摘要:Fully degradable polylactic acid (PLA), characterized by its green, non-toxic, and ecological attributes, has emerged as a prominent material for food packaging applications. Polysaccharides, naturally derived compounds, exhibit antibacterial and preservative characteristics, rendering them highly suitable for the manufacturing of food packaging films and preservation bags. In this work, three distinct extraction methodologies were utilized to obtain Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharides (PSPs) from the rhizomes of Polygonatum. Subsequently, these PSPs were incorporated into PLA to fabricate PLA/PSP fiber films by utilizing an electrospinning apparatus. The resultant films were rigorously evaluated for their bacterial resistance properties and potential utility in food packaging and preservation. The findings revealed that the incorporation of PSPs, particularly those obtained through water extraction, significantly enhanced the visible light barrier properties of the PLA film (p < 0.05), thereby providing beneficial protection to food from light radiation. The addition of PSP had minimal impact on the thermal decomposition behavior of the PLA film. Furthermore, the films exhibited a low degree of crystallinity, exhibiting flexibility and adaptability to various food shapes. PSP-WE/PLA demonstrated the highest surface density of 10.44 & times; 10(-6) g cm(-2), attributed to the abundant polysaccharide molecular chains with diverse compositions and lengths, which augmented the scope and spatial extent of interactions between PSP-WE and PLA molecules, including the formation of long-range hydrogen bonds. Additionally, the antibacterial properties of the films were investigated, showcasing potential inhibitory effects on the growth of microorganisms.
